Freefly Systems' original Astro is a compact, foldable NDAA and Blue UAS-approved quadcopter for mapping and inspection, with multi-band RTK GNSS, LTE connectivity and an Auterion Skynode mission computer. It flies on two SL8-Air batteries for up to 37 minutes and carries up to 1.5 kg on a Smart Dovetail mount; the Map kits pair it with a 61 MP Sony Alpha 7R IV mapping payload. It has been succeeded by the Astro Max (2025).
