The Potensic RID-916 is a standalone broadcast Remote ID module that attaches to a drone and transmits its identification, position and velocity over Bluetooth 5.1 so the flight complies with Remote ID rules. Potensic supports it in the United States, the European Union and Japan; operators first write their registration or operator ID to it through Potensic's Remote ID Management System (or the DIPS app in Japan). The grey module measures 37.6 × 31.6 × 15.9 mm, weighs under 20 g, is rated IP54 and runs up to 4 hours on a 310 mAh battery charged over USB-C. It mounts with 3M tape, 3M Dual Lock or an action-camera mount.
